It’s National Peach Month!

It’s National Peach Month!

August is National Peach Month, and the question is, how will you celebrate?

August is National Peach Month, and the question is, how will you celebrate? Peaches have reached the peak of their sweetness, and now is the time to enjoy them. Summer is almost over, so don’t miss your chance.

Sour Gummi Peaches

If you love peaches and gummies, then this is the perfect treat for you! You get all of the sweetness of the peaches with a little bit of a kick. Combining different flavors together makes the experience that much more fun for your taste buds. Delight your senses this summer by putting sweet and sour together. If you love it in a sauce that you can get in Chinese takeout, why not try that same flavor profile in your dessert

Using Peaches in Smores

Smores are another classic summertime treat. Something you may not have thought of before is to use a peach in that lineup. For the best results, play around with grilled peaches. Instead of regular chocolate, try using white chocolate! Don’t forget about the graham crackers. Although this sounds like an odd combination, once you try it, you’ll wonder why you didn’t give it a chance sooner. Drinking hot chocolate might not seem like the most appealing treat on a hot day, but there are still going to be some days during the summer when it’s chilly. Warm everyone up with a cup of hot chocolate! Using gourmet milk or dark chocolate for your hot chocolate is a surefire way to put a smile on anyone’s face.

Making a Trifle

If you’ve never tried a trifle before, then you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s like a cake, really. Some of the key ingredients include peaches, vanilla pudding, plenty of whipped cream, and mounds of chocolate. Put the pudding, whipped cream, and peaches together. Then put gourmet dark chocolate on top to add some deep flavor and a hint of bitterness to balance all of the sweetness in this airy delight. Just be sure to use shavings instead of chunks, chips, or bars. A trifle’s flavor is delicate, especially when you make one with peaches and cream. It won’t taste the same if you overwhelm it with dark chocolate. You can also experiment with hot fudge or chocolate syrup. If you add some chocolate-covered seashells, then you can really get into the spirit of the season
