Try our Almond Butter Crunch Toffee!

Today is National Candy Day! Candy comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, and flavors; today we’re able to unwrap our favorite sugary sweet and enjoy that treat in compliance to a national holiday. We’re looking forward to sharing our new seasonal candies, available now at all our stores. But let’s face it: every day is National Candy Day at Wockenfuss!

Leftover Halloween Treats

On Monday, we walked our little ones around the neighborhood and helped them fill their sacks with chocolate bars, lollipops, and sticky sweets. You may have even let your little ghosts and ghouls enjoy a few more bites of candy than usual! Now that Halloween has passed, you and your children are left with leftover candy that seems as if it could last you for months. Don’t let those treats go to waste – try some of the following ideas!

DIY Trail Mix

Take those tiny candies and chocolates and mix them into cereal, pretzels, nuts, and dry fruit for a nutritious and sweet snack. Pack them into lunches or enjoy it on the go!

Bring it to Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving festivities are only a few weeks away, which means that the kitchen will soon be filled with foods and pies alike. Leftover candy corn is a great centerpiece for any fall event.

Stir Chocolates into Coffee

Skip the $8 latte this morning and stir that leftover chocolate bar into your morning cup of joe! Top it off with a teaspoon of whipped cream for an exceptional homemade mocha.

Use it as a Learning Tool

Use pieces of those treats to help your children with their math homework. It’s a fun and sweet way to give young students incentive to complete their studies and understand the content.

Birthday Parties

Do you have a birthday party coming up? Use your leftover Halloween candy to stuff a piñata, make fun party centerpieces, or even use as a party game.

Save for Holiday Décor

The holidays are quickly approaching, which brings the season for baking and gingerbread house building. Bake the candy you saved into your holiday goodies, or use it to build your gingerbread men the most wonderful house you’ve ever made.
