Wockenfuss Homemade Candies

First Annual Customer Appreciation Chocolate Factory Tour

We’re giving tours of our chocolate factory, and this time, you don’t need a golden ticket. On Saturday, March 9th from 9:00am-3:00pm, we’ll be holding our first annual customer appreciation factory tour at our newest location on Harford Road in Baltimore. Though we won’t be giving out our secret family recipes, we will be giving you a behind-the-scenes look at what goes in to making the artisan chocolates that leave you feeling like a gourmand.

The tours are free, and so are the candy samples – because we can’t put a price on the smell of wafting chocolate, the look of it melting and being stirred into a velvety smooth concoction. Here’s what you need to know about how it’ll all go down: tours are expected to last for fifteen minutes, and will start in the factory, which you can access by the staircase on the side of the building – it’ll be marked with balloons. If you have a stroller or wheelchair, please make your way through the candy store’s entrance, where someone will direct you to the appropriate place.

Don’t worry – you won’t fall into a chocolate river, and we can’t promise performances by Oompa Loompas, but do keep in mind that you will be in a manufacturing facility. As such, you should use caution at all times and avoid touching any equipment. Everyone entering the factory will be asked to wear hair nets and remove jewelry, and children under the age of six must be in a stroller, carried, or holding the hand of an adult. Please note, our factory is now located at 6831 Harford Road, just north of Northern Parkway.

Join the event on Facebook, and email Janice at info@wockenfusscandies.com to reserve a spot. We look forward to sharing our deep love of chocolate and the candy making process with all of our loyal customers!
